How It Works
Your file, as music.
Every file is a list of numbers. This tool extracts those numbers, normalises them to a 0–1 range, maps them to a musical scale, and renders audio using your browser's Web Audio engine. Same file + same settings always produces the same output.
What Gets Extracted
By file type.
- CSV / TSV / XLSX — numeric cell values
- DOCX / PDF — word & sentence lengths + inline numbers
- PPTX — text per slide + chart/table numbers
- HTML / XML / SVG — numeric attribute values & coordinates
- JSON — all numeric values in the tree
- GPX — latitude, longitude, elevation
- ICS — event durations, dates, times
- SRT / VTT — subtitle timestamps + word lengths
- MIDI — note numbers and velocities
- MP3 / WAV / OGG — waveform amplitude samples
- PNG / JPG / BMP / WEBP — pixel brightness
Privacy
Nothing leaves your browser.
No server. No upload. No account. All parsing, rendering, and export happens locally on your machine. Once this page has loaded you can disconnect from the internet and it still works.
Export as WAV for audio use, or MIDI to import directly into any DAW — GarageBand, Ableton, Logic, and so on.
